(More customer reviews)The dye works well, although I wish the explanation in the description on Amazon and the front of the packaging would make clearer the type(s) of fabric it's best for. Apparently dye for cottons and natural fibers is different than dye for man-made fiber. Makes perfect sense now, but I had to buy two types of almost all colors I needed (and wait for the second batch to arrive) to learn that lesson...

Available in a wide variety of colors (for all natural fabrics (cotton, silk, wool, linen and rayon) and polyesters and nylons). There are also two laundry aids: Color Remover which will remove or lighten a color and brighten whites and Sun Blocker which, when added to the wash cycle will penetrate clothing and block harmful UV rays from the sun. iDye comes in a packet that dissolves in water which means there is no handling of messy dye powders. Just throw the dye packet in add salt and run through the wash cycle. It is ultimately the easiest way to get gorgeous color! Packets weigh 14 gms and will dye 2-3 pounds of fabric each.
